Disabling Cookies

You can manage cookies yourself and learn more about them by searching the Help system in your internet browser software. All major browsers have settings that can disallow the storage of cookies on your computer or mobile device. However, you should exercise caution when doing this as cookies are frequently used to make interacting with a website easier. How we will use your information

All personal information that we obtain about you will be recorded, used and protected by us in accordance with current privacy legislation and this privacy policy. We will primarily use personal information to conduct our business and provide our services to you, to communicate with you, for record keeping purposes, to improve the quality of our business, for market research, and to track the sales of our products on our website.

If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.

All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers. For more insight, you can read Shopify’s Terms of Service here and Privacy Policy here

Pinterest Tags

We additionally implement Pinterest Tags to track the engagement data of our website visitors, based on the actions they have taken on after viewing our Promoted Pin. Pinterest Tag is a piece of JavaScript code that we put on our website to track conversions, as well as to build and optimise our audiences on Pinterest. The data will be shared with Pinterest to measure our ad effectiveness. In return, the information can be used by Pinterest to help them understand who has visited or made purchases on our website and facilitate Personalized Ads on their site.

By using Pinterest Tags, we receive conversion reporting for 9 types of activities on our site:

  1. Checkout: to track who completes a transaction
  2. AddToCart: to track who adds an item to their shopping cart
  3. PageVisit: to track who views primary pages, such as product or article pages
  4. SignUp: to track who signs up for our product and service
  5. WatchVideos: to track who watches our videos
  6. Lead: to track who shows interest in our product
  7. Search: to track who performs searches on our website to look for specific products or store locations
  8. ViewCategory: to track who views category pages
  9. Custom: to track a custom event that we want to include in our conversion reporting

You may opt out of the use of your information through your browser's Do Not Track feature or your Pinterest personalisation settings. For further information, you can read Pinterest's Privacy Policy here.
